This is contemporary classical piece (violin and cello) in remembrance of the victims of the October 7, 2023 massacre in Israel. Written by Dave Shiflett.

Initially introspective with melodic reference to the Re'im music festival, the piece attempts to reflect the horror of the unfolding massacre, followed by affirmation of Israel's right to exist (a brief quotation of "Hatikvah") and celebration of the transcending spirit of the Israeli people.

If you are in a hurry start at 5:25. Please share link with friends if the spirit moves you. I am always available at Daveshiflett1@gmail.com.
